Studio Offerings

Voice Lessons

Voice lessons are perfect for students of all ages and skill levels looking to strengthen their vocal technique, improve their musicianship, and learn new repertoire. 30-minute lessons are recommended for younger students, and 45-minute or 60-minute lessons are recommended for teens/adults.

Audition Coaching

Coaching sessions are perfect for students who are not ready for a weekly commitment, but wish to prepare for a specific upcoming audition or performance. These sessions will focus on audition technique, acting within a song, and performing with an accompanist or track.

Piano Lessons

Piano lessons are available for beginner and intermediate students, including those who do not yet know how to read music. Lessons follow the Faber & Faber Piano Adventures curriculum, with supplemental repertoire incorporated as appropriate.

30-minute and 45-minute lesson options are available.

Studio Policies

Student Expectations:

  1. Regular practice is essential for successful growth and development! Students are expected to practice their exercises and repertoire outside of the lesson time. Please inquire directly about age-appropriate practice time per week.
     

  2. A recording device can be a helpful tool for students to make the most of their lessons. Students are welcome to use a personal recording device during lessons (including cell phone apps).
     

  3. Cell phones should not be used during lesson time, unless for recording the session or playing accompaniment tracks.

Payment:
​

  1. Payment for all lessons is due at the lesson time. This may be submitted via Venmo (@LizzieBartlett), Zelle (240-644-8907), or personal check (made payable to Elizabeth Bartlett).
     

  2. Please make every effort to provide advanced notice of any cancellations or rescheduling needs. If a lesson is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson time, you are responsible for paying the total cost of the lesson. Two free late cancellations per calendar year will be permitted for use in the event of an emergency or illness.
     

  3. Piano students are responsible for the cost of all lesson books procured by Lizzie. A receipt will be provided with new materials purchased. If you would prefer to procure lesson books on your own, please inform Lizzie so that you can be notified when new books should be obtained.

Performance Opportunities:
​

  1. A minimum of two studio recitals will be held per year. Students are strongly encouraged to participate, but not required. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your progress to your family, friends, and loved ones.
     

  2. Students may be asked to pay a small fee to offset recital costs, including venue and accompanist fees as applicable. Please notify Lizzie if this cost is prohibitive.
